Ban The Bangers
Bird Scarers; Poppers; Gas Guns; Bangers: whatever we call them, they are loud EXPLOSIONS and they are going off in our communities virtually for the whole year. New Year, Bank Holidays and Week-ends. Even Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are not sacred; even then we get no peace from these Bangers.
Personally, the Bangers are seriously affecting my quality of life. Their existence highlights the conflict between the ability of people who live in the countryside to achieve a level of calm and quality in their life and the farmers who plant crops to make a profit; and make no mistake these Bangers are going off to protect the profit levels of the farmers. That is their only function.
I started this web site, banthebangers.com, so that people who held the same views and whose lives were being affected in the same way as myself could express their opinions and realise that they were not alone in how they felt.
Maybe, if there are enough of us and we approach things in the right way, we can make our voices heard and, who knows, we may have peace returned to the countryside that we love
